It is really an amazing piece of art! I admire your technique - it looks as smooth as a digital painting.
But at some points (on the nose, the chin, the cheeks and the forehead), the skin looks slightly weird. Like he has a skin disease or something. I dunno the original - it could be that it's the same thing there.

You really have a thing for the piercing blue eyes. It always turns out so striking against the warmish neutrals.

The details are amazing!!! Very realistic. And the eyes are truly piercing. You did an absolute amazing job on this.

I just finished a similar piece (except mine's a self portrait) like this in my art class. My medium was black and white charcoal, and I used brown chalk pastel for the eyes.
