Doctor Who - TVM

What works for me in this piece...the likeness of the eighth doctor is excellent & the way those blue eyes stare out at the viewer, it's the first thing your eye comes to.

The details of the TARDIS interior are excellent & compel you to keep scanning over the piece to pick up the next little thing, from the claw & ball feet to the candelabra in the background.

The one thing that detracts from the piece for me, is Grace. Although the likeness is obvious, I don't know if it's the reference used, but it's not a particularly flattering portrait. The texture of that silk blouse is perfectly done, it's just that expression she's got - childish & not very articulate but - eww!

I don't know if it's the positioning of her partially behind the TARDIS console, but my eye is thrown off the foreground & it appears to skew the perspective of the console on that side.

Overall the content is good, but I'm not sure if the composition as a whole entirely works for me.
