Best wishes to everyone out there for a brilliant 2014.
And a massive thank you to everyone who has followed my work and been kind enough
to comment. It has been very, very much appreciated.
2013 was a good year for me. Being shortlisted as an Artist of the Year by Artists &
Illustrators Magazine was a highlight as was winning a prize in the RBSA Portrait
Prize Competition. The best thing though is having the chance to do what I love doing
which is painting people. They are always interesting.
And thank you to all the brilliant artists on here for posting their work.

Huge thanks to everyone who has made a comment on my work.
It is always encouraging and much appreciated.
I've been enjoying concentrating on my own work this year.I've put
the sci-fi stuff on the backburner for a while to allow some new ideas
to surface eventually.It's good to do something different and avoid
repitition if possible.
I had some really good news recently.My painting "BC (portrait of
my brother)" made it into the Sunday times Watercolour Competition
2012.It's Brirain's largest open art exhibition with several thousand
entries.Only 100 works were selected for show and I feel very proud
(and lucky!).My painting will be
